Exhibitions, Workshops & Fundraisers

Since its founding in 1987, the Potters' Association of Namibia has held annual events for its members as well as non-members to create a platform to showcase their work at Exhibitions, learn new skills and techniques at Workshops. Occasionally we ask that they provide their support in the various Fundraising initiatives undertaken.

Through these events, we hope to create an interest in pottery and ceramics amongst the general public, thereby furthering their knowledge and hopefully nurturing an appreciation for handmade arts and crafts. In return, we encourage these generous patrons of the arts to support us financially at exhibitions and fundraising events.

Since the middle of 2006, a fantastic partnership was kindled between P.A.N. and Bank Windhoek under their umbrella of the Bank Windhoek Arts Festival. With this new sponsor, we have been able to direct our surplas funds towards our own Development Fund as well as to other charitable organisations in Namibia.
